And the Award Goes Massey Ferguson

The Massey Ferguson company has every possible reason to be proud. Recently, its MF7624 Dyna-VT model of tractor has won the Golden Tractor for Design award in the 2012 Tractor of the Year competition.
The award is presented every year by the jury of journalists working for 22 magazines, considered to be the European leaders in handling farming issues. Manufacturers have to refrain from entering the competition. The only way they stand a chance for the award is to be nominated by one of the judges.
According to Richard Markwell, the company’s vice president and managing director for Europe, Africa and Middle East, the whole event was very competitive this year as there were quite a few new tractors launched on the market in order to meet follow the new Stage 3b exhaust regulations.
The 7640 model is one of a four- model range spanning 185 to 235 hp (210 to 260 boosted) and equipped with a new, ergonomical cab and a 7.4 – litre AGCO SISU Power e3 second-generation SCR engine. Not only does the cab interior have high visibility, but also it is easy to operate owing to a new layout and simplified joysticks.
